Megalohori is 9 km. from Fira. It is considered as one of the most picturesque villages of the island and consists of more than 150 residents.

It has many neoclassical houses, narrow streets and white churches. It is famous for its fertile soil, which is why you will find there many vineyards and wineries. Three of the largest wineries in Santorini are located there.
At the entrance of the road you will meet Agios Eustathios, leading to the beach Thermi, with its hot springs, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Megalochori has hotels and at the central square you will find restaurants and tavernas. The closest beaches are Thermi and Plaka.
