Trails
You will not feel the greatness of the island if you do not walk the path from Fira to Oia. You will need about two hours to get there. You will pass by the Catholic Fira with mansions. Going down to the caldera will meet the Catholic diocese. Continuing to Firostefani-Imerovigli you will meet Agios Nikolaos and get to Skaros. Walk to the Theoskepasti, a picturesque church. An uphill leads to the Prophet Elias. From there you have the best view of the caldera.

Walk to the stone path that starts from the "Secret School" in the Tower and the monastery of Prophet Elias (sometime interrupted by the road and then restarted). The journey takes about half an hour.
