Santorini’s Airport is located in the southeastern part of the island, close to Agia Paraskevi. The terminal building was built in 1989. It is located about 5 km from the island's capital, Fira. It has one main runway 2125 meters long and another one for aircraft and parking for 6 planes.
The airport has among other services a duty free shop, restaurants, cafes and many travel agencies and car rentals. In winter mainly serves flights from Athens and Thessaloniki by Olympic Airlines and Aegean. During the summer it has many international flights and charters from many European airports.
There are frequent daily buses from Fira and it takes about 15-20 minutes.
